Terms of use.

1. Acceptance

By accessing this website you accept these terms of use. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.

2. Informational purpose only

The content of this site is general information about our services. It does not constitute financial, legal, tax or investment advice, nor an offer or solicitation of any kind. M&A and corporate-development services are provided exclusively under a written engagement agreement between Midico BV and the client, which alone defines scope, terms and responsibilities.

3. No client relationship

Visiting the site or contacting us does not create an advisory or client relationship. Do not send us confidential or deal-sensitive information before we have confirmed in writing that we can act — including conflict clearance. Unsolicited information is not protected by any duty of confidentiality.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including the ProjectPhi name, the phi mark, the line “Armouring Entrepreneurs for Deals that Define” and all text and design — is the property of Midico BV or its licensors. Reproduction or reuse requires our prior written consent, except for private, non-commercial viewing.

5. Acceptable use

You may not interfere with the operation of the site, attempt unauthorised access, or extract content by automated means.

6. Third-party content

The site may embed licensed media and link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, availability or data practices.

7. Liability

The site is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Midico BV accepts no liability for damage arising from use of the site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or wilful misconduct.

8. Changes

We may amend the site and these terms at any time. Continued use after amendment constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law and forum

These terms are governed by Belgian law. The courts of the Antwerp division have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory provisions of applicable law.

1. Controller

3. No tracking

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Functional preferences (such as language and display settings) are stored locally in your browser and are not transmitted to us. Web fonts are currently loaded from Google Fonts and embedded media may be served from third-party content-delivery networks; these providers receive your IP address when the content loads (legitimate interest, art. 6.1(f) GDPR — correct display of the site).

4. Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data to respond to enquiries and maintain professional contact (legitimate interest, art. 6.1(f) GDPR); to prepare and perform engagements (art. 6.1(b)); and to comply with legal obligations, including client-identification duties under anti-money-laundering rules where applicable (art. 6.1(c)). We do not sell personal data and make no automated decisions with legal effect.

5. Retention

Correspondence is kept up to two years after last contact; engagement files as long as legally required (up to ten years after the end of an engagement); server logs no longer than twelve months.

6. Recipients

Data may be shared with processors we rely on (hosting, IT and communication tools) under processing agreements, with professional advisors bound by confidentiality, and with authorities where legally required.

7. Transfers outside the EEA

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your personal data. Write to next@projectphi.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority, gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; the version published on this page applies.
